Opening Doors Through Education

Every child deserves the chance to learn, to dream, and to shape their own future. Yet in Nepal, many bright and hardworking students face barriers that put their education and their dreams at risk.
Empowering Opportunities provides scholarships that remove those barriers. Our support covers private primary school tuition, public school fees, exam costs, uniforms, and essential learning materials for students in Classes 1–10. For college and university students, we also provide funding for tuition and textbooks, helping them continue their studies and build pathways to meaningful careers.
Right now, we’re sharing the stories of several remarkable young people whose determination to learn inspires us every day. Each one has the potential to create lasting change for themselves, their families, and their communities—but they can’t do it alone.

Primary Scholarships

We provide orphans with scholarships to cover their yearly educational costs for admission fees, exam fees, uniforms,  and stationary. 

We cover private education for a few younger students,  like Shriti at Srijansil Orphanage, to better their chances of higher education.   

Thanks to a very generous donation from Cathy and Fritz Law, and their children (Cody, Caleb, Callie and Conner) we now have a "Get Them Off the Wall and into School" fund to help the poorest rural students attend school.  You can help too with a gift of only $50.
